Rose Farm College of Equine Studies

Offers training in Equine Bowen Therapy with qualified therapist Lotty Merry. The course is based on her farm at Catcott, Somerset. Lotty uses a dedicated training room to provide the best teaching environment.

Equine Manipulation

The Oxford College of Equine Physical Therapy (OCEPT)

The Equine Manipulation Course

The course is twelve months in duration, functioning on a part-time, mixed-mode educational basis.

Applicants are required to possess a significant background of appropriate prior academic achievement, preferably to degree level, with a clear motivation to pursue the course. However, consideration will also be given to motivated, mature people with a demonstrable record of achievement in non-academic areas, where a high level of determination and will to succeed can be evidenced.

Prior equine experience and a general competence in handling horses is a necessary prerequisite, and all students are required to have access to equestrian centres, livery yards or individual horses.

All applicants are invited to attend an open interview session at the College, usually held during the summer

Equine Massage Therapy

Equi-Therapy UK

Equine Massage Certificate - This one day intensive course is designed for the everyday horse owner. The course will cover basic Equine Anatomy and Physiology, Massage and Stretching Techniques including Pre and Post Exercise.

The course is carried out at Springbridge Driving Centre, Willoughby Waterleys, Countersthorpe, Leicestershire.

Course dates: To be decided

Equine Sports Massage Diploma - This five day intensive course is open to qualified Human Sports Masage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Osteopaths. The course is taught on a one-to-one basis, followed by in depth case studies for three months. Students are required to have a good knowledge and experience of various equine disciplines and have a dedication to succeed.
